Waterton Trip

Yesterday we all got to go to Waterton and enjoy the wind . . . oops I meant the mountains. Skai and Esther went with Grandma and Grandpa Hardy and the crew to Waterton in the morning while Landon and I went to the Temple with my family. My brother Lucas was going through for the first time as he prepares to go on his mission. At 2 pm we met the Hardy's at the lake in the townsite and we got changed for our great explore in the mountains. We thought it would be fun to see Hardy Falls, but on the drive to the beginning of our walk Skai and Esther fell asleep. So I had a nap with the girls in the car while everyone else went exploring. From the pictures it looks like they all had fun. The Hardy van went home after that but we stayed as did KK and we went for a hike up Bears Hump. At the beginning of the hike it said that it should take about 1 1/2 hours to do the whole hike, well Skai and Esther insisted on walking the whole way, so it took us 1 1/2 hours to hike up and 45 minutes to hike down. I was impressed with the girls that they did it and enjoyed it a lot. Esther walked about 3/4 of the hike and Skai about 98% of it. Part way down she had Aunt KK give her a shoulder ride but not for too long. At the top it was really windy, too windy even for the kite that we had brought up with us. But it was a beautiful view. After the hike we had dinner at Pass Creek and traveled home. It was fun and relaxing and very beautiful. Wish you all could have been there!
